Grigory Ordzhonikidze (1886–1937),

revolutionary, Bolshevik. He played a key role in the establishment of Soviet power in the North Caucasus. He was a member of the Revolutionary Military Council of the Caucasian Front since January 1920. He headed the Caucasian Bureau of the Central Committee of the RCP(b) in 1921–1922, was the First Secretary of the Transcaucasian Regional Committee of the RCP(b) in 1922–1926.
