Grigory Petrovsky (1878–1958),
revolutionary, Bolshevik, Soviet statesman. He was the first chairman of the All-Ukrainian Revolutionary Committee, chairman of the All-Ukrainian Central Executive Committee, represented the Ukrainian SSR when signing the Treaty on the creation of the USSR on December 30, 1922. Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR from the Ukrainian SSR.

Kliment Voroshilov (1881–1969),
revolutionary, Bolshevik, Soviet military, and statesman. Commander of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. From November 1918 to January 1919, he was a member of the Provisional Workers' and Peasants' Government of Ukraine. From January to June 1919, he held the post of People’s Commissar of Internal Affairs of the Ukrainian SSR. He commanded the troops of the Kharkov Military District, the 14th Army, and the internal Ukrainian front.
