Vasily Shorin (1870–1938),
Soviet military commander. From May 1920 to January 1921 Assistant Commander of the Armed Forces of the Republic in Siberia, led the suppression of the anti-Bolshevik uprisings, including the West Siberian rebellion in 1921.

Ivan Pavlunovsky (1888–1937),
revolutionary and a figure of the Soviet secret services. In August 1919–February 1920, the first deputy chief of the Special Department of the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission (VChK). From 1920 to 1926, he was a plenipotentiary of the VChK–OGPU (Unified State Political Directorate) in Siberia, chairman of the Siberian VChK, a member of the Siberian Bureau of the Central Committee of the RСP(b). In 1921, one of the leaders of the liquidation of the West Siberian rebellion.
